How to use:
Readthe Medication Guide provided by your pharmacist before youstart taking tapentadol and each time
you get a refill. If you have anyquestions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Take this medicationby mouth as directed by your doctor. You may take this drug with orwithout food. If
you have nausea, it may help to take this drug with food.Ask your doctor or pharmacist about other ways
todecrease nausea (such as lying down for 1 to 2 hours with as littlehead movement as possible).

Side Effects

Nausea, vomiting, constipation, dizziness,or drowsiness may occur. If any of these effects persist or
worsen, tell yourdoctor or pharmacist promptly.
To preventconstipation, eat a diet adequate in fiber, drink plenty of water,and exercise. Consult your
pharmacist for help in selectinga laxative (such as a stimulant type with stool softener).
Precautions
Before takingtapentadol, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it;or if you have any other
allergies. This product may contain inactiveingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other
problems. Talk to yourpharmacist for more details.
Before usingthis medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history,especially of: brain
disorders (such as seizures, headinjury, tumor), breathing problems (such as asthma, sleepapnea,
chronic obstructive pulmonary disease-COPD), gallbladder disease, kidneydisease, liver disease,
mental/mood disorders

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Aspadol 100mg Tablet.

Pregnancy

Use of Aspadol 100mg Tablet is not indicated in women.

Driving
UNSAFE
Aspadol 100mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do
not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Aspadol 100mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Aspadol
100mg Tablet is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. A lowering of dose may be
considered if it is not well-tolerated.

Liver
CAUTION
Aspadol 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment
of Aspadol 100mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
There is limited information available on the use of Aspadol 100mg Tablet in patients with severe liver
disease.
